Whenever I’m having a bad day or just need a little comfort food, nothing is more perfect than a delicious warm cookie! These cookies are ooey gooey greatness with the combination of dark chocolate, caramel and sea salt! Really, you just can’t go wrong. They are soft, buttery and just amazingly delicious. My husband rated them a 10, though he may be a bit biased. 🙂

Cookie Dough Obsession Cupcakes
Let’s face it, we all love cookie dough! I can’t ever think of a time I’ve had cookie dough ice cream and thought, man there is WAY too much cookie dough in this ice cream. No, there is never too much cookie dough in anything ;). This cupcake is for those who love cookie dough as much as I do! It’s a cookie dough cupcake with a soft eggless cookie dough center and cookie dough frosting on top – and it is as delicious as it sounds! I served these at a party and they were a huge hit! I’m also obsessed with my new Sparkly Gold Sequins Tablecloth I used for the backdrop of this picture… it’s as amazing as the cupcakes! This is a great, super simple recipe that turns out better than any cupcakes you’d get at a bakery! Enjoy!

Knock You Naked Cookie Bars
The name says it all… these cookie bars are divine and the perfect treat for Valentine’s Day! I’ve made these a dozen times and they are always incredible. The best part is you can mix up the recipe, add in different ingredients to the cookies for a change: colorful M&Ms, pecans, etc. However you make them, my favorite part is eating them. They come out of the oven as this ooey-gooey deliciousness, but they get even better after cooling… they become these thick chewy cookie bars that are incredible! I can’t decide which way I like them better, you’ll have to decide for yourself!
Cookie Dough Dip
Well, I hope you all had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! The holidays definitely got away from me this year and I didn’t manage to post anything over the last two weeks. So to make up for that, and to help every stay somewhat with their New Year’s resolutions, I am sharing this super simple, super delicious Cookie Dough Dip! It’s great for parties or make a smaller serving for dessert with the family! The great thing is you can serve it with apple slices, apple straws and chocolate graham crackers (all mostly healthy options); making this a nice and “mostly” healthy dessert option. 🙂
Christmas Cookies (Part 2): White Chocolate Pistachio Cranberry Shortbread Cookies
Here’s part 2 of my Christmas Cookies series, make sure you read part 1 (Dark Chocolate-Dipped Orange Sables) from yesterday. I make both cookies every year and can’t decide which one I love more! White Chocolate Pistachio Cranberry Shortbread is so amazingly decadent and festive! Not only does it look like a Christmas cookie (red & green speckled throughout), it TASTES like Christmas! The salt of the pistachio, the tartness of cranberry and the delicious white chocolate… it’s just perfect!
Christmas is around the corner and I’ve already made one big batch of these cookies, it probably won’t be the only one!
Christmas Cookies (Part 1): Dark Chocolate-Dipped Orange Sables
Everyone has their staple Christmas cookie recipes, and this is one of mine. These are delicious and pretty shortbread cookies that never fail! They are a hit at parties and for Christmas gifts, and Santa loves them (of course)! The recipe comes from a friend who writes the blog Sing for Your Supper, it’s a fabulous blog and I definitely recommend it. Her recipes are to die for and she tells great stories about her kiddos, as well.
I’ve been making these cookies and another of her recipes (that I’ll post tomorrow) for Christmas the last several years and I just keep coming back for more!
My Favorite Soft Baked Chocolate Chip Cookies
Sometimes you just need a warm cookie and a cold glass of milk when it’s chilly outside… I know I do. Cookies were my first foray into baking, I was obsessed with trying all sorts of recipes. Needless to say, cookies are still one of my favorite things. I don’t get to bake them as much as I’d like to these days, but there are just days you need a good batch of cookies!
I really love this recipe, it’s simple and quick plus the cookies taste amazing! What’s wonderful about these cookies is they almost taste better once they are cool and they stay soft for days (if you can even make them last that long)!
