Red Velvet Cream Cheese-Stuffed Cupcakes

Red Velvet Cupcakes-1-01

Nothing says Valentine’s Day more than Red Velvet cupcakes! They are decadent, chocolatey and they’ll match your Valentine’s outfit perfectly ;). Red Velvet cupcakes always make me a little nervous, I’ve had many very dry red velvet recipes (including from popular bakeries) and I just don’t like cupcakes to be dry! However, this recipe does not disappoint… the cupcakes are moist and full of that rich chocolate taste I love.

Whether you like Valentine’s Day or not, it’s a great time to share a wonderful evening with the one you love. I always like to do something special on Valentine’s Day… it can be silly or sweet but it should always make your significant other feel loved! So bring on the corny cards, heart shaped candies and most definitely, the cupcakes!

Chocolate Raspberry Ganache Cake

Chocolate Raspberry Ganache Cake-1-01

We are less than a month from Valentine’s Day, which means it’s time to bring on the yummy and decadent desserts to treat yourself! I especially love Valentine’s Day because it falls right next to my birthday, and as I always point out to my husband, the two holidays are never allowed to be combined. 🙂 For me, Valentine’s day is all about the chocolate… and the richer, the better! This cake is one of the first cakes I ever endeavored to make from scratch and I make it time and time again now. It’s super moist, rich chocolate and covered in amazing raspberry chocolate ganache! I drool just thinking about this cake.

This chocolate cake is also the inspiration for many of my other recipes, including the first I posted on my blog – the Decadent S’mores Cake. If you love this recipe than you simply must try the S’mores cake!

Dark Chocolate Orange Cupcakes

Dark Chocolate Orange Cupcakes-1-01

Dark chocolate really goes with everything, but Dark Chocolate and Orange is one of my favorite flavor combinations! This cupcake is so delicious and the perfect reason to cheat on your New Year’s diet ;)! These are inspired by my love for the chocolate oranges I use to get as a kid (you know the ones where you smack them on the table and it comes out with these perfect little chocolate orange slices?). These are so much better and you can even top them with the chocolate slices to make them even more incredible!

Cookie Dough Dip

Cookie Dough Dip-1-01

Well, I hope you all had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! The holidays definitely got away from me this year and I didn’t manage to post anything over the last two weeks. So to make up for that, and to help every stay somewhat with their New Year’s resolutions, I am sharing this super simple, super delicious Cookie Dough Dip! It’s great for parties or make a smaller serving for dessert with the family! The great thing is you can serve it with apple slices, apple straws and chocolate graham crackers (all mostly healthy options); making this a nice and “mostly” healthy dessert option. 🙂
