Let’s face it, we all love cookie dough! I can’t ever think of a time I’ve had cookie dough ice cream and thought, man there is WAY too much cookie dough in this ice cream. No, there is never too much cookie dough in anything ;). This cupcake is for those who love cookie dough as much as I do! It’s a cookie dough cupcake with a soft eggless cookie dough center and cookie dough frosting on top – and it is as delicious as it sounds! I served these at a party and they were a huge hit! My sister-in-law is having a baby girl and she wanted Samoa cupcakes for her baby shower… it was such a delicious cupcake, I just had to share the recipe and result. First, I have to show off the cupcake bouquet from her shower, it turned out so great and I loved using edible glitter (Disco Dust, Gold Hologram) for the first time!12778869_10104278685302390_3180651741115299318_o

What this one includes is a yummy vanilla cupcake, rich chocolate ganache, toasted coconut, homemade caramel sauce and caramel frosting! I topped off the recipe with Samoa cookies to make this a perfect cupcake. So, if you love your Girl Scout cookies, you will love this cupcake

I’ve given you many cupcake and cake recipes over the last few months, and this is my first post to focus on frosting. This recipe is everything you want from a chocolate frosting, it’s creamy, rich and chocolatey heaven! Enjoy!

Knock You Naked Cookie Bars

Knock You Naked Cookie Bars-1-01

The name says it all… these cookie bars are divine and the perfect treat for Valentine’s Day! I’ve made these a dozen times and they are always incredible. The best part is you can mix up the recipe, add in different ingredients to the cookies for a change: colorful M&Ms, pecans, etc. However you make them, my favorite part is eating them. They come out of the oven as this ooey-gooey deliciousness, but they get even better after cooling… they become these thick chewy cookie bars that are incredible! I can’t decide which way I like them better, you’ll have to decide for yourself!

Red Velvet Cream Cheese-Stuffed Cupcakes

Red Velvet Cupcakes-1-01

Nothing says Valentine’s Day more than Red Velvet cupcakes! They are decadent, chocolatey and they’ll match your Valentine’s outfit perfectly ;). Red Velvet cupcakes always make me a little nervous, I’ve had many very dry red velvet recipes (including from popular bakeries) and I just don’t like cupcakes to be dry! However, this recipe does not disappoint… the cupcakes are moist and full of that rich chocolate taste I love.

Whether you like Valentine’s Day or not, it’s a great time to share a wonderful evening with the one you love. I always like to do something special on Valentine’s Day… it can be silly or sweet but it should always make your significant other feel loved! So bring on the corny cards, heart shaped candies and most definitely, the cupcakes!
