I made these cupcakes this week for my birthday… and OH MY GOSH are they delicious! Seriously, they are so so good. The moist chocolate cake, the fluffy marshmallow frosting, the buttery graham cracker bottom AND peanut butter in the center just sends this into a whole different stratosphere. I officially love this cupcake! And I hope you will, too! This is my classic chocolate cake recipe, sorry if you are getting sick of seeing it but it’s too perfect to change. Love is in the air! It’s almost Valentine’s Day and whether you have special plans or not… you will love these cupcakes! I’ve been dying to try a pink velvet recipe, since pink is my absolute favorite color! These are light, buttermilk cupcakes that are a perfect not-too-sweet compliment to the decadent fudge filling and the light, fluffy whipped cream cheese frosting. And what better way to top it off than a fudge-dipped strawberry! So, celebrate this Valentine’s Day with love and cupcakes!!

Red Velvet Cream Cheese-Stuffed Cupcakes
Nothing says Valentine’s Day more than Red Velvet cupcakes! They are decadent, chocolatey and they’ll match your Valentine’s outfit perfectly ;). Red Velvet cupcakes always make me a little nervous, I’ve had many very dry red velvet recipes (including from popular bakeries) and I just don’t like cupcakes to be dry! However, this recipe does not disappoint… the cupcakes are moist and full of that rich chocolate taste I love.
Whether you like Valentine’s Day or not, it’s a great time to share a wonderful evening with the one you love. I always like to do something special on Valentine’s Day… it can be silly or sweet but it should always make your significant other feel loved! So bring on the corny cards, heart shaped candies and most definitely, the cupcakes!
Dark Chocolate Orange Cupcakes
Dark chocolate really goes with everything, but Dark Chocolate and Orange is one of my favorite flavor combinations! This cupcake is so delicious and the perfect reason to cheat on your New Year’s diet ;)! These are inspired by my love for the chocolate oranges I use to get as a kid (you know the ones where you smack them on the table and it comes out with these perfect little chocolate orange slices?). These are so much better and you can even top them with the chocolate slices to make them even more incredible!

Sparkling Cranberry White Cupcakes
If you are like me, your December is always completely crazy! We never have a free weekend between all of the holiday parties, family events and gatherings with friends. While it can be chaotic and stressful, I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world! It’s the one time of year you get to see everyone you love and eat like a kid again! I’m always on the hunt for a delicious and pretty Christmas dessert. This is a perfect choice for any Christmas occasion!
Andes Mint Cupcakes
It is officially the most wonderful time of the year! I want to bring you some of my favorite Christmas treats over the next few weeks and chocolate and mint is just one of those flavor combinations that is a perfect fit for Christmas time! These Andes mint cupcakes are so so good. You’ll notice the repeat of my favorite dark chocolate cupcake recipe… it will be featured regularly since I love chocolate and I love this recipe (see my Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Caramel Cupcakes for another delicious option)!
So, while your whipping up Christmas dinner or prepping for a party, these cupcakes will make a great addition to your table.
Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Caramel Cupcakes
Okay, so I know I talk a lot about all the different desserts I love… but I have to say, these are by far the BEST dessert I have EVER made. The dark chocolate cupcake is super moist and filled with delicious salted caramel that just makes me want to drool. I am literally in love with this cupcake! If you don’t believe me, try it. I promise you won’t regret the decision.
I made these for a happy hour and people went nuts over them! I made them again for Halloween and I’m pretty sure I caught my husband eating 3 in one day (he refused to share the last one with me, too J). They are that good! I hope you enjoy them as much as I and my friends and family have, they are fabulous, decadent cupcakes!

Heavenly Pumpkin Pecan Cupcakes with Cinnamon Cream Cheese Frosting
I have been feeling inspired by the Fall to try out some new Pumpkin recipes. This recipe is originally inspired by my favorite Pumpkin Dump Cake (don’t worry, I’ll be posting that before Thanksgiving). It brings out all my favorite flavors – pumpkin, cinnamon, pecan, nutmeg. It’s tons of yummy goodness! And what better to top off a pumpkin cupcake than a cinnamon cream cheese frosting!
If you’re looking for something to ring in this beautiful Fall weather, this dessert should do the trick!
Reese’s Peanut Butter Cupcakes
Happy Halloween! Is there any better Halloween treat than a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup? The correct answer is no, no there is not! It seemed like the appropriate treat to bake for my Halloween party this evening… and there is even a Reese’s baked into the center of the cupcake! I love a good surprise when people bite in.
I don’t have any clever anecdotal story for these cupcakes… I just love Peanut Butter and Chocolate. I also had a lot of fun with the Halloween decorations for these cupcakes, I dyed the frosting a bright orange and created little witches hats to top the cupcakes. I made the monster and zombie brains cupcakes in other flavors.
Caramel Apple Spice Cupcakes with Salted Caramel Buttercream
To continue with our fair food theme for this week, there really is no better choice than a delicious Caramel Apple! The perfect treat at the State Fair or for Halloween… these Caramel Apple Cupcakes make a great alternative for those of us who love the fair (and a lot less messy)! Plus, I can never get enough Caramel, especially sea salt caramel. It’s ooey gooey goodness that I would drink if that was an acceptable diet! 🙂
I love the adventure of trying a new recipe. Not being sure how it will work out, whether everyone will like it and whether I’ll be happy with the final product… it’s a little bit of a thrill watching someone bite into your cupcake and seeing their face light up with delight! Of course, it’s a little nerve racking when you try something new. Sometimes the recipe isn’t perfect, the cupcake isn’t moist or the flavor is just not quite right. Regardless, I love the challenge and this cupcake was no exception. I was a little nervous chopping up apples into a cupcake, wondering if the texture would be odd, but they really do taste incredible! All this to say, I try to be adventurous with my recipes and I can promise everything you see on my blog will be tried and true (and absolutely delicious)!
After trying this recipe, if you are as big of a fan of the Salted Caramel Buttercream as I am, check back soon for my absolute favorite Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Caramel Cupcake recipe… it is sooo amazingly good!!
